Role and Responsibilities
The Data & Analytics Manager in the CE Retail team enables data-driven decision-making, drives operational efficiency, and enhances customer satisfaction across the retail organization. Key responsibilities include:
Data Preparation and IntegrationDevelop and execute data integration strategies to combine data from disparate sources.Use SQL, ETL tools, or scripting languages to join datasets based on defined relationships and business rules.Ensure data accuracy and consistency across integrated datasets.Retail Product Sales Analysis:Develop and manage reports to analyze sales data, identifying trends and patterns that inform inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotional activities for CE products.Provide actionable insights to optimize product offerings and improve sales performance.Sales Team Performance Evaluation:Assess the performance of sales teams using targets and metrics such as conversion rates and customer engagement to CE products.Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.Sales Team Training Optimization:Analyze training programs’ performance data to evaluate and maximize the effectiveness of CE-focused training initiatives.Suggest adjustments to training content, delivery methods, or schedules to better align with business objectives and the team’s needs.Customer Experience Shopping Surveys:Process and analyze survey data related to the shopping experience for CE products, focusing on customer satisfaction, preferences, and pain points.Offer insights to improve customer service, store layout, and overall shopping experiences for CE products.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure data-driven strategies are implemented effectively across the CE retail division.Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.Data-Driven Strategy Development:Leverage data analytics to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the CE retail segment.Develop and execute strategies that enhance competitiveness and customer satisfaction in the CE market.Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of prior experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Retail Insights, or related area of expertiseProficient in developing predictive models that directly inform and/or enable quantifiable business action, either by providing insights or building analytic applicationsVisual report creation that communicates data effectively from the field-level sales team to executive-level usePreferred Qualifications:
Technical Skills
Data Visualization & ReportingAdvanced proficiency in Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and reports.Experience with Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation.Data Management & QueryingStrong knowledge of SQL for querying and managing large datasets.Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).Data Analysis & ModelingProficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.Experience with data mining and exploratory data analysis (EDA).Programming & ToolsFamiliarity with programming languages like Python or R for advanced analytics.Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.Knowledge and experience in automating data from industry-standard retail systems & platformsImplement & Maintain all New + Existing Software, Hardware Development, + UAT, and deployment in partnership with business ownersCloud & Big Data TechnologiesKnowledge of managing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data storage and processing to make data accessible for use within Samsung's secured technology, approved for business useExperience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Snowflake.Manage the intake and execution of all Samsung-required SaaS inspections for external programs & platforms utilized by the CE Retail Team.#LI-KR1

The salary range for this role, for candidates based in New Jersey, is expected to be between $105,000 and $115,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
