About the Team
The Finance Manager will join the newly established Customer Financing Program team at Nutanix. This team is focused on creating a unique skill set that is net new to the organization, supporting the expansion and success of customer financing initiatives in a 2-tier channel sales model. You will report to the Director of Payment Platform and Financing Solutions, who fosters a hands-on and proactive leadership style. The manager encourages team members to identify problems and propose solutions, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment. The work setup for this role is primarily remote, offering flexibility for team members to work from home, with no mandatory office days currently required.
This role involves minimal travel, with expectations set at about once or twice a year, allowing the Customer Financing Solutions Manager to focus primarily on remote collaboration and support for the team’s objectives.
Your Role
Develop and implement the customer financing program to support field sales teams in structuring deals.Act as the primary liaison between funding partners, Nutanix & the Nutanix channel partner ecosystem managing key relationships.Conduct credit reviews and negotiate terms, ensuring compliance with funding partner requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, legal, finance) to facilitate seamless transactions.Provide regular updates and reporting to senior management regarding program progress and deal flow.Establish metrics for success and drive significant deal flow through the customer financing program within the first year.Document process and workflow.
What You Will Bring
10+ years of experience in customer financing and channel sales model.Strong funder management or banking relationship management skills.Ability to support field sales teams in deal structuring and pricing.Holistic skill set across pricing, credit analysis, and relationship management.Comfortable managing relationships with banking partners.Effective communication and problem-solving skills.Experience with Salesforce as a technology stack.Team-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude for cross-functional collaboration.
Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 147,200 and USD $ 294,000 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
