**Manager, Customer-Facing Supply Chain** **Coalition & Brand** : APAC Supply Chain Operations **Function** : APAC Supply Chain Operations **Geographic Scope** : Asia **Location** : Shanghai, China **Position Definition** This role serves as the **strategic bridge between customer needs and supply chain execution** , specializing in managing end-to-end supply chain projects while deepening partnerships with key accounts. The incumbent will drive customer-centric supply chain initiatives, align internal processes with client requirements, and lead cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in the APAC retail market. **Key Responsibilities** **1. Customer-Centric Supply Chain Project Leadership** + **Strategic Project Identification** : Collaborate with leadership to prioritize supply chain projects for key accounts, ensuring alignment with customer business goals and VF’s operational strategy. + **End-to-End Project Management** : Lead full project lifecycles for supply chain initiatives, including: + Developing detailed project charters, timelines, and resource plans. + Managing project scope, milestones, and deliverables (e.g., process redesign, system integration, SOP development) to meet customer SLAs and internal KPIs. + Coordinating with stakeholders (e.g., logistics, procurement, IT, sales) to resolve bottlenecks in supply chain workflows. + **Financial & ROI Accountability** : Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for projects, ensuring measurable ROI (e.g., 10%+ reduction in order lead time, 15% improvement in inventory turnover) and alignment with customer and company financial targets. **2. Key Account Supply Chain Partnership Management** + **Customer Needs Assessment** : Proactively engage with key account customers to identify pain points (e.g., delivery reliability, stockout risks) and co-develop supply chain solutions (e.g., collaborative forecasting, VMI [Vendor-Managed Inventory] models). + **Customer Feedback Integration** : Translate customer insights into actionable supply chain projects (e.g., implementing a real-time order tracking portal, optimizing last-mile delivery routes) and drive internal adoption of customer-centric processes. **Competency Requirements** + **Supply Chain Project Expertise** : Proven ability to design and execute supply chain-specific projects (e.g., TMS system implementations, demand planning tool rollouts, distribution network optimization) in a retail environment. + **Customer Relationship Management** : Strong track record of managing key account relationships, with experience in negotiating supply chain agreements, resolving client escalations, and delivering customer-centric solutions. + **Technical & Analytical Skills** : Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and supply chain analytics (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to track KPIs (OTIF, inventory levels) and justify project ROI. + **Leadership & Influence** : Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels (e.g., regional operations teams) to drive project buy-in. + **Communication** : Excellent bilingual (English/Chinese) communication skills, with experience drafting project charters, presenting to executive leadership, and translating technical supply chain concepts to non-technical stakeholders. **Experience** + **8+ years** of business experience, with **5+ years in supply chain operations or project management within APAC retail/e-commerce** (e.g., managing end-to-end supply chain projects for key accounts like Alibaba, JD.com, or other international retailers). + **3+ years** leading supply chain project teams (5+ members), including budgeting ($500K+), resource allocation, and delivering projects on time/within scope. + **Preferred** : Experience with customer-facing supply chain models (e.g., D2C, omnichannel fulfillment) and APAC-specific logistics challenges (e.g., cross-border trade, regional distribution networks). **Academic Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. + **PMP/Project Management Professional certification** (strongly preferred). + **Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or Lean certification** (strongly preferred). **Language Proficiency** + Fluent in English and Chinese (written/spoken), with experience supporting bilingual project documentation and stakeholder communication.
