Manager, Coverage Development and Business Planning

This position is responsible for business planning, new business development and analysis activities to support the General Manager, Global Merchant Services Greater China and Global Merchant Services teams in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China (MCCY) markets to effectively execute annual and long-range growth plan and initiatives.

 

The incumbent will be specifically responsible for the following areas:

 

Manage P&L, forecast and budget optimization of Greater China markets and work closely with local market teams to ensure effective utilization of investment for return.Manage the Hong Kong Market Coverage Growth program to drive effective cross LOBs alignment and action plan for accelerated and cost-effective coverage growth.Drive the development of long-range plans, pricing proposals and strategic plan for Greater China.Manage and identify strategic initiatives and actions to meet and improve scorecard results.Prepare and coordinate with key linkages on management reports and presentations for effective communication of business strategies and status.Leverage external data and closed loop internal information to identify new growth opportunities and develop plans with respective GMS teams for execution.Act as the focal point of contact for GMS Greater China teams with local issuers, regional and central teams for effective collaboration, request fulfilment, support escalation, compliance of internal policies and local regulations.

University degree or above.Strong business and financial acumen.Excellent analytical and project management skills, with good business planning and development experience.Strong knowledge of Blue Box economics and P & L management.Always maintain Big Picture view while driving progress to meet key timelines and milestones of key projects and initiatives.Result oriented with solid analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Ability to drive execution, optimize resources, manage profitability and develop innovative solutions.Strong knowledge of the market and competition.Thought leadership & project management skills.Strong presentation, problem solving and negotiation skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to collaborate, influence and build relationships internally and externally.Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua / Mandarin a prerequisite).
