How you’ll make an impact:

Provide legal guidance to the company including providing direction and guidance on projects in partnership with other team members.Prepare, review, and negotiate business contracts and public tenders. Partner with business units and functions in Australia and New Zealand; lead the implementation of contract templates, including updating templates according to company guidelines, laws or legal requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teamsRegularly and proactively advise business teams and functions on areas of law including but not limited to contracts, construction, employment, privacy, dispute resolution etc. and developments applicable to Edwards operations in Australia and New Zealand; Review transactions and interactions with healthcare professionals; and provide appropriate legal guidance to internal stakeholdersProvide legal guidance to the company including providing direction and guidance on project teams to execute tactical projects and/ or initiativesOther incidental duties

What you'll need (Required):

Juris Doctor or equivalent in Law degree, Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school, 1 Year experience Legal/ business preferredOther: in University law degree or equivalent, 5 years experience Legal/ business requiredExtensive knowledge of own area within legal discipline while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standardsExcellent analytical, detail-oriented and information seeking skillsExcellent organization and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills with ability to drive achievement of objectivesExpert understanding of related aspects of legal processes and/or systemsMust demonstrate to Legal Standards
