The Manager, Corporate Accounting will be responsible for supervising the day to day activities of staff that comprise one or several financial control sub-functions. Responsible for accuracy, timelines and the general integrity of the accounting function and related reports. Role will report to the Director, External Reporting and Technical Accounting and have 1 direct report.
What you will do:
Lead the Hedge Accounting for our U.S. and Canada business. Hedging activities predominately relate to commodity hedging .Review hedging entries during the month-end close, reconciliations, for complex accounting transactionsPerform account analysis, including testing and documentation related to hedge accountingPerform technical research and analysis on potential new hedging strategies (for commodity and FX) and review documentation related to existing hedging strategies.Lead the share-based compensation accounting, inclusive of working with valuation experts to determine the fair value of awardsAssist with the global SOX audit, oversee our global testing, and work directly with internal and external audit. Prepare and/or Review the footnote disclosures for the aforementioned areasResearch new accounting and SEC reporting standards as they evolve prior to issuance, drafting technical position papers for the Company, as applicable Participate in the forecasting process by providing forecasts for the above processesIdentify efficiencies and improvements in the above processes Coordinate with the company’s external independent auditor Participate in communication of foreign subsidiary accounting teams in changes in US GAAP or SEC financial reportingWhat you will bring:
Bachelor's in accounting is required, CPA is preferred. At least 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years of Public Accounting experience Strong communication skills and technical accounting background (especially commodity hedging and SOX), with public company experience strongly desired Proficiency in US GAAP accounting principlesManufacturing or retail accounting experience also a plus. Specific experience associated with SEC filings and technical accounting areas, including the accounting for derivative financial instrumentsWho you are:

$119,520.00-$159,360.00 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
