We are seeking a Manager, Community Affairs, Mexico to execute and support our community and local government engagement strategy across Mexico. This role is pivotal in strengthening our local presence, supporting trust-based relationships with community-level government and congressional stakeholders, and enabling effective territorial engagement in a dynamic political environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on government or community affairs experience, strong operational execution skills, and the ability to support issue and crisis management at the local level. What You'll Do for UsExecute and support Coca-Cola's Community Affairs strategy in Mexico, aligned with PACS priorities and national objectives. Manage day-to-day, operational relationships with key stakeholders across local government, Congress, and community authorities, strengthening trust and collaboration at the territorial level. Support territorial engagement efforts, including coordination and activation of local structures that advance advocacy and community objectives. Monitor and track political, legislative, and electoral developments at the local level, identifying potential community-level risks and opportunities. Provide on-the-ground support during sensitive issues and crisis situations, ensuring timely coordination with PACS, Communications, and Legal teams. Maintain and update stakeholder mapping and intelligence, ensuring accurate insights on local decision-makers and influencers across priority regions. Support the execution of the PACS Annual Business Plan (ABP) through operational planning, budget tracking, and program implementation in coordination with bottlers and internal teams. Ensure high operational readiness, with full availability for fieldwork and travel across Mexico as required. Requirements & QualificationsBachelor's degree required; degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Social Sciences, or related field preferred. Typically 4-6 years of experience working with government, public affairs, community relations, or related fields, with exposure to local and/or federal environments. Working understanding of Mexico's public decision-making processes and community-level governance dynamics. Basic to intermediate knowledge of legislative and electoral processes and their impact at the local level. Demonstrated experience supporting relationships with government or congressional stakeholders in an execution-focused role. Experience supporting issue management or crisis response in fast-moving or complex environments. Familiarity with territorial or community-based engagement structures is a strong plus. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in the field. Full operational availability, with 100% travel readiness as required. English proficiency required; Spanish fluency required for effective local engagement.
