We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Collections (Credit Risk).

Principal responsibilities

Lead, plan and co-ordinate a wide range of projects, offshoring migration, process review, system and manpower related issues to ensure smooth delivery of credit collection servicesProvide prompt responses and recommendations on credit policies to adapt to the fast and changing marketTake legal proceedings against debtors by instructing external legal firms; representing the bank to attend court hearing and liaising with Official Receiver’s Office / Outside Trustee on bankruptcy related mattersHandle and manage debt collections agencies (Third Party engagement), formulate guidelines for DCAs and ensuring their adherence to Group, HASE and regulatory guidelinesPropose and implement quality enhancement and control strengthening initiatives in response to the review findings, customer feedback and business needs

University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualificationsMinimum 5 years' managerial experience in credit risk or complaint handling and project management, in relation to retail banking productsGood understanding of portfolio management technique including analyticsStrong interpersonal / leadership skills Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantageGreat sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processesProfessional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage
