Position Purpose:
The Manager of COA & Payments Analytics is responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to improve payment processing, implementing cost of acceptance reduction strategies and facilitating dynamic debit card transaction routing.
The Manager of COA & Payments Analytics is responsible for managing the data pipelines and driving analytics in support of THD’s payments acceptance strategy across the US, HD.com, Canada, and Mexico, including all THD affiliates.
Key Responsibilities:
Payments Analytics
Developing a reporting suite of KPI tracking, forecasts, and alerts to help manage the business; partner with IT and the business to resolve any issues that arise with customer payment acceptance and fraud.Partners with IT to maintain existing data feeds and ingest new data as needed.Payment Processing
Ensuring accuracy of THD’s payment processing costs and network fees, identifying trends, and resolving discrepancies with the payment processors and card brands.Stakeholder Management
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to accurately track, report and manage payment acceptance costs across the entire payments’ ecosystem.Team Support
Lead and mentor a team of payment professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Skills Required: SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, Machine Learning tools, understanding of technical architecture conceptsStrong organizational skills to manage projects end-to-endExperience with project management toolsAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills. Proactive, collaborative, and professionalCollaborates effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at various levelsEscalates when appropriate for support from leadershipPayments Expertise a Plus
