Researches, designs, proposes, facilitates implementation, and ensures execution of Clinical Services for Meijer Pharmacy. This position partners with the Merchandising teams to coordinate initiatives to ensure continuity of programs. Through a partnership with Marketing, this position supports promotion Clinical Services to the customer. **What You'll be Doing:** **Responsible for overall vision of Clinical Services including constant research in the ever-changing role of pharmacists.** **Presents visionary solutions to Retail Operations and Merchandising.** **Review marketing to ensure the right message is communicated to the customer.** **Collaborates with Merchandising to identify and deploy clinical programs.** **Oversees the Pharmacy Residency program in collaboration with the shared university faculty.** **Design, implement, and evaluate clinical pharmacy programs.** **Teaches and trains the pharmacy community to provide clinical services while maintaining day-to-day pharmacists’ activities including filling prescriptions.** **Manages special projects.** **Analyze business metrics and guide team performance using data-driven insights.** **This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.** **What You Bring With You (Qualifications):** **University or college degree with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, (pre-2001) or Doctor of Pharmacy degree, (post 2001) required.** **5 years of experience in clinical programs within retail pharmacy.** **Working knowledge of clinical services including immunization programs, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Diabetes Programs.** **Working knowledge of pharmacy-related systems.** **Computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.** **Working knowledge of operational policies and procedures.** **Project Management skills.** **Understanding of regulatory compliance expectations.** **Ability and willingness to travel daily with some overnight stays.** **Effective communication skills and be a change agent.** **Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.** We opened our doors more than 90 years ago with the goal of helping people provide for themselves and their family.
