Researches, designs, proposes, facilitates implementation, and ensures execution of Clinical Services for Meijer Pharmacy. This position partners with the Merchandising teams to coordinate initiatives to ensure continuity of programs. Through a partnership with Marketing, this position supports promotion Clinical Services to the customer.
What You'll be Doing:
Responsible for overall vision of Clinical Services including constant research in the ever-changing role of pharmacists.Presents visionary solutions to Retail Operations and Merchandising. Review marketing to ensure the right message is communicated to the customer.Collaborates with Merchandising to identify and deploy clinical programs.Oversees the Pharmacy Residency program in collaboration with the shared university faculty.Design, implement, and evaluate clinical pharmacy programs.Teaches and trains the pharmacy community to provide clinical services while maintaining day-to-day pharmacists’ activities including filling prescriptions.Manages special projects.Analyze business metrics and guide team performance using data-driven insights.This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.What You Bring With You (Qualifications):
University or college degree with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, (pre-2001) or Doctor of Pharmacy degree, (post 2001) required.5 years of experience in clinical programs within retail pharmacy.Working knowledge of clinical services including immunization programs, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Diabetes Programs.Working knowledge of pharmacy-related systems.Computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.Working knowledge of operational policies and procedures.Project Management skills.Understanding of regulatory compliance expectations.Ability and willingness to travel daily with some overnight stays.Effective communication skills and be a change agent.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
