Job Summary

Seeking a leadership role where your expertise in carrier access sales can drive business growth? As Manager, Carrier Access Sales at Spectrum, you will guide, mentor and empower a high-performing team to achieve sales targets in the carrier and wholesale market segment. Your strategic approach and commitment will shape long-term partnerships and create lasting value for Spectrum’s enterprise services.


How You’ll Make an Impact

Lead and develop a Carrier Access sales team by hiring, training and coaching to achieve sales quotas and business growth goalsDesign and implement account strategies for last mile building access and carrier NNI opportunitiesOversee sales processes, set metrics for funnel management, analyze performance gaps and report progress to leadershipCompile and review sales forecasts, budgets and business case approvals to ensure compliance and operational efficiencyNegotiate and close carrier service contracts, facilitate contract language negotiations and coordinate customer presentationsEnsure team activation with necessary training on fiber-based services and internal proceduresMaintain current knowledge of the carrier marketplace and foster positive relationships with customers and business partners

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience

Experience

5-7+ years selling and managing large wholesale or national accounts

Skills

Adaptability to shifting prioritiesEffective problem-solving and confidentialityStrong organizational and computer skills, including SalesforceStrategic negotiation and knowledge of Ethernet technologiesExperience in business communications sales to large clientsExcellent communication and business acumenCollaborative and multitasking abilitiesValid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record per company standards and auto insurance
