Position: Manager, Campaign Optimization
Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066
Duties: Assist with the planning, coordination and implementation of advertising/ marketing campaigns for product mix (electronics, hardware, furniture, appliances, health & wellness etc.). Approve campaign platform(s) (e.g., TV, online videos) or suggest modifications based on knowledge of customer and Walmart Marketing organization. Participate in ideation and creative campaign development, set standards & policies and provides input to overall creative strategy across multiple campaigns to capture customer interest, influence their emotional response and inspire them to take action. Approve all aspects of campaign production, including storyboard, schedule, production staff, talent, wardrobe, set, permits, shooting, editing and other post-production for lower-profile projects. Evaluate operational processes within campaign management to identify opportunities for improvement or innovation. Provide regular insights to advertisers detailing campaign performance, campaign optimizations, and new opportunities. Utilize knowledge of Programmatic and online advertising (Bid management platforms, Demand Side Platform & Service Side Platform); Ad optimization tools (adwords graders); Advertising Technical capabilities - Ad server, Google Ad Manager, Trade desk or other DSPs, Search platforms (Google, Bing, Amazon), etc.; Utilize online tools to assess the impacts of online advertisements and run ad hoc report for senior management. Utilize programmatic ads, search engine ads and other types of ads to promote marketing initiatives. Consult on the appropriate use of cookies to track users' browser history and to evaluate the effectiveness of online campaign initiative. Demonstrate knowledge of how advertisers run campaigns. Analyze potential risks from any illegal advertising programs (e.g. malware) to protect the social media platform.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in programmatic digital media/advertising, marketing, communication, information systems or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in programmatic digital media/advertising, marketing, communication, information systems or related area and 2 years of experience in programmatic digital media/advertising, business development, market development, or related area.
Skills required: Experience with Ad tech consulting for eCommerce platforms. Experience developing and executing paid search campaign strategies. Experience developing and executing display campaign strategies. Experience leveraging API solutions for building campaign strategies for accounts integrated with API. Experience designing and developing data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau and Power BI. Experience extracting reports for performance data analysis using SQL queries. Experience developing statistical reports using Excel. Experience developing and delivering analytical reports and forecasting insights on business performance review. Experience maintaining and managing project task development and progress workflows using project management software. Experience developing and maintaining category and seasonality focused Ad keyword databases. Experience creating and editing creative media required to launch sponsored brand and video ads (using Figma and Canva). Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
Salary Range: $104,000/year to $202,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
