Overview A Manager of Publicis Media Business Operations is an organized, strategic thinker who can help identify, develop, and execute processes across the media buying lifecycle. This role is responsible for maintaining process methodologies and recognizing opportunity for improvements across the Publicis Media agencies – specifically within with the Buying Systems and various Media Platforms. This role requires understanding of the media buying life cycle – with particular focus on media planning, ordering, and reconciliation. This role requires continuous commitment to challenging the status quo, seeking an improved, efficient, and intuitive approach to established processes, communication methods, and record-keeping practices. This role is responsible for clearly communicating processes and best practices to agency counterparts. This role is expected to assist in developing processes, create documentation, educate/train agency peers and leaders, and help troubleshoot questions and issues within processes and platforms. Responsibilities Continually strive to enhance and adapt processes and workflow to meet business needs – specifically as it relates to the Buy Systems and Platforms used across agencies. Actively research best methodologies (process and technology) and find application within our organization. Examples of Process Improvements – automation within excel tracker with use of formulas, automation of processes via enhancements within systems, streamlining and standardizing communications to agency teams, internal Coordinate with and update Director of Business Operations of departmental requests for seamless execution Develop and maintain relationships with agency counterparts within Operations, Media Investment, Finance. Participate in strategic planning for long term Business Operation goals. Build ongoing, collaborative relationships with team members – serve as a mentor for junior team members Develop your SME (subject matter expert) skills and interests to impact Business Operations team growth and expertise Able to prioritize projects to meet agile requests Research and understand the digital media industry and business needs; and how Business Operations team can evolve and assist accordingly Qualifications 4-6 years’ relevant experience in Media role Relevant experience in media operations, process architecture and documentation Understanding of Media Buying Lifecycle – with an emphasis on systems, planning, investment, traffic, & reconciliation Advanced Proficiency in MediaOcean/Prisma Advanced Proficiency in MS Excel (Formulas, Functions) Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint Effective time management skills, able to manage multiple workstreams at once Demonstrated business analysis and technical writing skills required to create accurate documentation and processes Strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively engage with various levels within the organization from Analyst to C-suite executives Collaborative, team-oriented nature Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
