**How will you make an impact in this role?**
This position is responsible to assist Senior Manager, Marketing & Business Enablement to perform business enablement and project management functions for International Card Services (ICS) Hong Kong consumer business to drive efficiency and reduce operational complexity and risk.
This role will be required to work closely with stakeholders across American Express the Business Unit including but not limited to Control Management, Operation Excellence, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Internal Audit Group (IAG), Technology, Central COE to enable protection and growth for the ICS Hong Kong consumer business.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Drive and implement business projects that support streamlining our business and enable BU to focus on core business activities
+ Support implementation of projects that standardize processes and capabilities in BU including but not limited to relevant system migration
+ Support ICS consumer risk assessment process including but not limited to RCSA process (Risk and Control Self-Assessment in line with Enterprise Policy – including risk identification & assessments and documentation of controls, periodic review of existing controls and enhancement in partnership with Operation Excellence team. This shall include existing or new product / process where appropriate
+ Serve as PMO for compliance & operational risk related change requirements for consumer card products
+ Drive and identify initiative that drive efficiency, process improvement, reduce operational complexity and risk and enable business change in a compliant manner
+ Work closely with Compliance, Control Management, and Legal teams to embed controls into business workflows and support ongoing business initiatives
+ Assist in defining and maintaining effective preventive and detective controls within ICS Hong Kong operations
+ Support relevant audits, issues & events remediation where appropriate
+ Support critical business project that is essential to future ICS business growth
**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree or above
+ Minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience in credit card, financial or consumer industry and experiences in risk management, business compliance and operation excellence a plus
+ Strong project management skill, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
+ Solution-driven problem solver with strong business acumen and business operations in the Payment Industry
+ Strong analytical and data analysis skills
+ Strong collaboration skills and able to work and influence effectively in cross-functional project teams. Ability to work with external partners and manage multiple relationship in matrix environment
+ Self-starter with the ability to understand complex business operations quickly
+ Able to work independently and excellent time management skills
