As a Manager, Business Development (EE), you will lead end-to-end category development for the Everyday Essentials (FMCG) category—one of the most strategic and high-frequency categories in Quick Commerce. You will own the category vision and growth roadmap, identify and unlock new selection and partnership opportunities, and build a strong seller and brand ecosystem purpose-built for Quick Commerce. This includes working closely with brands to set up exclusive partnerships, differentiated selection launches, and commercial deals that strengthen Amazon Now’s competitive position. The role requires shaping new business avenues across premium, imported, regional, and emerging FMCG brands, while maintaining a high bar on customer experience and operational inputs. You will work cross-functionally and engage directly with senior leadership to drive sustained category growth.
Key job responsibilities
Set the category strategy and execution roadmap for Everyday Essentials (FMCG), and lead a team to deliver sustained growth through new selection, partnerships, and scalable mechanisms.
Design and execute focused workstreams to rapidly achieve and maintain parity with incumbent competitors, translating competitive gaps into clear selection, pricing, and availability actions.
Identify and build sustainable competitive advantages for Amazon Now by leveraging Amazon’s scale, data, supply chain, and brand relationships to create durable differentiation.
Own brand and seller partnerships end-to-end, including structuring deals, exclusive selection, and deeper collaborations that unlock better pricing, availability, and customer experience.
Ensure best-in-class category inputs by setting a high bar on selection readiness, price competitiveness, buyability, catalog accuracy, and instock health, and by removing defects at scale.
