\nResponsibilities
Identify and develop Chinese customers in expansionary mode
• Identify through manager's own network, research, conferences, trade shows, marketing, a list of customers fitting into DSC aligned sectors of development
• Leverage DHL China BUs customer base, network in identifying opportunities
• Develop relationships with Chinese customers senior stakeholders in understanding their global expansion strategy and identifying opportunities outside of China
Feeding China outbound opportunities to DSC regions/countries
• Connect opportunities to respective DSC countries and stakeholders for local development
• Drive and support our DSC teams in opportunity development such as being the intermediary in meetings, negotiations, support in language closing the communication and business cultural gaps
• Communication with CN based senior stakeholders in providing valuable feedback to the teams in sharpening our proposals to convert the business
Joint development with countries for Chinese customers
• Work jointly with DSC teams for the development of identified Chinese customers expanding in respective countries
• To develop relationship with stakeholders based in CN while country teams work with stakeholders in-country
• Support countries with upcoming tenders, providing guidance from Chinese stakeholders, participating in meetings and negotiations
Pipeline Management
• Manage and maintain a comprehensive, healthy pipeline of China outbound opportunities
• Provide updates on the opportunities to respective DSC stakeholders
• Advise DSC stakeholders on the required support to convert the opportunities
Requirements\n8 years and above of supply chain experience, knowledge across various sectors\nStrategic with a commercial and consultative skillset\nGood interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure\nAbility to work across different cultures \nStrong leadership skills in driving teams in pursuit of opportunities\nBachelor degree or above, preferably in Logistics; external Logistics certification \nProficient in English and Chinese\n\n
