Manager, Business Development – B2B Acceptance, South-East Asia

Overview:

The Commercial Solutions & New Payment Flows division is hiring for a role for B2B acceptance to support the rapid growth and expansion of existing and new commercial payment flows. B2B Acceptance is a critical enabler of commercial payments and of Mastercard’s growth strategy in South-East Asia and this role will have multiple responsibilities from execution of strategic new flows, project management and supplier acquisition. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the market teams to implement regional strategies and drive greater acceptance for commercial payments locally.

Role:
•\tSupplier Enablement & Activation:
o\tDelivering the supplier enablement playbook and providing guidance and management of resources in South-east Asia markets.
o\tManage and deliver pre-determined objectives of supplier engagement campaigns.
o\tExecuting B2B acceptance strategies through acquiring partners and sales engagement resources.
•\tSupplier Sales and Business Development:
o\tHunting, developing, expanding and deepening relationships of a portfolio of top B2B suppliers in South-east Asia to position Mastercard as the preferred method for commercial payments.


All About You:
•\tStrong knowledge of both acceptance and commercial card payments.
•\tStrong knowledge of the local payment ecosystem in SEA markets.
•\tExtensive experience in a sales/commercial environment including direct interaction with corporates buyers and suppliers.
•\tDemonstrated expertise and success in achieving sales goals consistently.
•\tStrong executive presence and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
•\tStrategic and Creative mindset, with ability to build win-win deals.
•\tMay require some travel within SEA markets.
