Manager, Brand Engagement & Activation
Overview Summary We are looking for a passionate multitasker to join us as Manager, under the Brand Engagement & Activation team at Foot Locker. The Brand Engagement & Activation team is part of the Marketing Dept of Foot Locker Europe, and is the key driver in the Foot Locker’s most authentic and organic connections with our consumers – the sneaker passionates. Key undertaking of this team is to translate brand objectives into powerful Social Media, PR, and Activation strategies to reach and engage key audience groups.   The primary role of the Manager, Brand Engagement & Activation is to lead the passion points – basketball and football programs – to increase brand reach and consumer engagement on the ground and across social media platforms. Responsibilities Responsibilities Lead Passion Points Sports programs, from managing existing partnerships to developing new ones, concepting, and executing external and in-store events Own basketball strategy & roadmap, as well as plan executions for basketball partnerships, campaigns & activations in key European markets Lead the implementation of Foot Locker’s football positioning through marketing and commercial initiatives throughout the year. Manage Pan European event and experiences overview with deployment in key cities with regional marketing managers and some of the best sports brands in the world. Work with integrated marketing to create omni-channel experiences and campaigns around commercial and cultural sports moments Leading key local cultural partnerships, and central alignment between local and HQ teams. You are also the lead contact for driving engagement within our internal teams, bringing excitement to HQ events Qualifications Your Profile University degree, preferably within Marketing/Sports/Brand Partnership, Brand Communications or Event Management 5+ years of experience, within the Retail//Fashion/Sports Industry or an Event /Creative agency. Near-Native level of English, other European languages are desirable You are proactive, energetic, and inspire trust. Experienced project manager with excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong budget management skills Data-driven and results-oriented In addition: You are passionate about sports and sneakers/streetwear, particularly a strong affinity with basketball and football You have a strong level of emotional intelligence and resilience, know when to ask for support and are able to keep focus on results You are able to work as part of a team/ no silo mentality, and you are an accountable team member You have the ability to work under time and results pressure, tight deadlines and changing priorities. You have experience in event planning, you are flexible and understand the pace of culture and retail. Collaboration is your mantra and you are always one step ahead in planning. You are able to successfully deploy multiple projects at the same time, and keep a sharp level of detail and urgency in your communication.
