The Technology Infrastructure Project Management Office (TIPMO) drives large portfolios of projects organization organized by Tower, supporting global infrastructure teams with thorough planning and effective execution oversight, to achieve delivery of agreed, sustainable business outcomes in collaborative, adaptable and modern ways, ensuring efficient use of NT’s capital and human resources. Three portfolio leads are individual contributors responsible for Tower-level engagement, leveraging a shared resource pool of staff reporting to the senior manager.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Responsible for managing the IT Project & Program Managers in APAC group, including conducting the performance management process for staff and disciplinary actions. Aligns with, plans and takes direction from, senior manager, TIPMO execution who is the global function leader. Determines local group staffing needs, makes hiring and firing decisions in partnership with global function lead, handles salary administration and ensures resources are available to accomplish priorities. Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation and teamwork.Assumes accountability for the performance management, career development of the APAC PMs and support staffCoordinate with global function lead and Tower portfolio leads in ensuring that the business objectives are metManages programs to support risk management and compliance programs and activities for their assigned groupEnsure appropriate utilization and adoption of Program/Project Management tools selected for the enterprise (Azure DevOps and Clarity PPM), by TIPMO APAC personnelTracks project progress with respect to time, budget and demonstrated results. Communicates progress to functional management and modifies schedules as requiredWHO YOU ARE
You have excellent planning, communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgement and management skills and the ability to interact with senior business areas and IT management staff.
You have experience in managing transformation or remediation programs that are responsive to regulatory and compliance needs. You understand the rigor of planning, the importance of delivering sustainable solutions, the stringent demands for program change control, artifact collection and validation, milestone closure validation, partnership with Audit etc.
Leadership and organization skills are required to direct the activities of the group. Skills in translating broad strategic intent into tactical plans and directions. Must have excellent negotiation and conflict management skills. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written also required.
