Manager, Accounts Payable CR Alajuela, Costa Rica **Education / Experience** Required: Bachelor’s Degree Desirable: Master's / Ph.D. Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a similar industry, of which 4 years must be in positions of personnel supervision. **Skills, Specialized Knowledge:** Financial Reporting, Free Zone Knowledge, SOX internal controls, Sunshine requirements Preferred: Oracle and ESSbase / Hyperion, 170 Markview, Concur Microsoft Office C1 English language fluency **Summary of Duties and Responsibilities** Responsible for building and leading team of centralized AP specialists and oversight of the effective end-to-end processes for supplier invoices and payments, employee T&E expense processing and card administration including research and resolution of complex accounts while maximizing cash flow opportunities to drive DPO, delivering performance for the US, Canada and Costa Rica operations. Ensure continual process and reporting efficiencies and superior service orientation. Effective partnership with cross functional teams. Ability to drive high level of customer service orientation and results. Provide leadership in administration of all components of processing cash disbursements to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of payments Plan, organize and define roles for team members to ensure that customer service expectations are met or exceeded Define and maintain performance metrics (for process, customer, employee and financial value profiles) Ensure timely and accurate issuance of 1099’s inclusive of Federal and State filings Identify and present solutions for continuous process improvement Responsible for staff training and education Provide performance feedback and coaching to team members Assist in tracking and prioritization of new system requirements Partners effectively with Corporate Finance team to ensure seamless process efficiency including the accurate collection of required information for Sunshine reporting Support teams in identifying, defining, and implementing processes improvement solutions Ensure adherence to SOX internal controls **Qualifications** Demonstrated leadership & ability to develop talent and drive employee engagement Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Process Improvement Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Facilitating Change High Volume Orientation Expert knowledge of accounts payable and end-to-end Cash Disbursements process including best practice orientation Ability to plan, assign and direct work
