Purpose of the role:
At this role you will be managing a team responsible for the accounting & reporting according to US GAAP and statutory reporting support for multiple countries. 

Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for US GAAP accounting for multiple legal entities including  reporting and respective analysis, statutory closing & reportingFull responsibility for statutory reporting, statistical reporting etc for selected countriesLeading a team of accountants, oversee quality of work and performance  Effectively manage and develop team members, lead by example  Coordination and oversight over annual external audit and key contact for internal and external auditors  Ensure operational compliance with local and group policies and internal control framework  Support tax manger in preparing tax provisions and transfer pricing reviews  Work with outsourced tax advisors on tax and statutory filings  Preparation of statistical reports and financial statements  Transitioning of general ledger tasks to finance service center  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (in a multi-national company preferred).Experience in leading teamCPA or Chartered Accountant or ACCA certification is preferred.Strong communication skills – effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and relevant local language(s).Attention to detail and a high degree of intellectual curiosity.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and business partners.Ability to lead, influence and motivate others.Good time management skillsStrong customer service focus, with a drive to ensure that we exceed the expectations of our customers.Knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations.Availability of travel if required, up to 5%
