Sodexo is seeking an Accounting Manager to support our InReach Segment Support team, as a part of our Finance Shared Services in Cheektowaga, NY. We need a natural problem-solver, who thrives on challenges, enjoys training and developing internal controls.
This role will work a hybrid schedule averaging three days in the office and two days from home plus ten work from anywhere days, in the U.S. only, provided annually. This is on top of vacation, holidays and personal days.

What You'll DoThe successful candidate will:
Knowledge and insight into each segment to drive decisions which help manage their business and client satisfactionPartner with other departments to identify and/or resolve issues.Lead departmental projects and initiatives which includes analyzing systems, processes and proceduresDeveloping and implementing departmental policies, evaluating and sharing of best practicesRepresent the department on FSS, segment and company initiatives and provide insights, options/solutions, and implement rollout plansEnsure compliance with company policies and client contractual agreements to reduce exposure and riskCoordinate month-end close process, collaborate with other departments to meet deadlines and validate final financial results to close the month What We OfferCompensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
