What’s the role?
The Management System Officer is a Senior Manager-level role responsible for achieving Total Quality Management in a data- and process-driven service organization. This position ensures compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and local laws, while connecting with the Corporate Management System to assess compliance, performance, and reporting.

Here’s what you’ll do:
Enterprise Service Management
Develop and govern Enterprise Service Management procedures, policies, and processes, ensuring standardization and compliance.
Provide direction for Business Service Management solutions and collaborate with IT architects to implement them.
Guide design and maintenance of service models, support channels, and governance frameworks.
Risk Management
Lead risk assessment processes across ZBS functions and geographies; evaluate impact, implement controls, and monitor effectiveness.
Conduct risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
Total Quality Management
Set the vision and strategy for TQM, overseeing compliance with standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Drive continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance quality and efficiency.
Monitor quality metrics, report findings, and advise operations on process impacts.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, data privacy (GDPR/CCPA), and anti-corruption measures.
Management System Auditing
Plan and execute internal audits to evaluate controls, risk management, and compliance.
Prepare reports with findings and recommendations; ensure timely corrective actions.
Apply data analytics to identify risks, maintain thorough documentation, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
Communicate findings with management, audit committees, and regulators, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions.
Partner with departments to establish strategies, promote a risk-aware culture, and provide training to audit/risk staff.
Do You Qualify?
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in Total Quality Management, preferably in a manufacturing, technology, or business service environment.
Certifications: Auditor certification/accreditation according to ISO 19011 or a major ISO standard preferred. Lean Six Sigma certification highly desirable.
Tools & Methodologies: Skilled with analytical tools (e.g., Celonis) and/or AI in process management. Proven expertise in process modeling (BPMN 2.0, preferably with Signavio), including validation and implementation (e.g., V-Model). Familiarity with record management systems (preferably OpenText).
Compliance & Risk Management: In-depth knowledge of corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles/methodologies.
Core Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Travel: Willingness for occasional travel to various ZEISS locations to support business and operational needs.
Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $120,000 – $150,000
