Job DescriptionDeliver insightful monthly performance analysis, translating business results into clear commercial drivers and actionable recommendations for operational and leadership teams.Fixed and variable cost analysis, ensuring transparency of key cost drivers and supporting proactive cost-management initiatives across the manufacturing facility.Cost centre budget tracking, partnering with department heads to monitor spending, understand variances, and drive financial accountability.Support annual business planning and rolling forecasts, challenging assumptions, modelling scenarios, and supporting strategic decision-making.Evaluate project risks, business cases and profitability, providing robust financial assessments to support investment decisions and operational improvements.Support senior stakeholders with high-quality business reporting, ensuring accuracy, clarity and consistency across monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting packs.Participate in and help improve the month-end closing process, ensuring timely, accurate results and identifying opportunities to streamline processes.Ensure the integrity and consistency of financial data, with a focus on robust expense classification, compliance with accounting standards, and alignment with global reporting requirements.Act as a trusted finance partner to operational departments, responding to queries, explaining results, and supporting non-financial colleagues with clear, practical insights.Support standard costing and product cost calculations in SAP, ensuring accurate motor and component costing and supporting pricing, margins and operational efficiency.Analyse material price variances, identifying root causes and working with procurement andAnalyse production order variances, providing clarity on performance gaps and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the shopfloor.Continuously improve the depth, quality and automation of business reporting, helping to strengthen financial insight, decision support, and operational transparency.QualificationsDegree in Finance, Business or related studies and a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ICA or CIMA)Experience of SAP production accounting and costing is an advantage, but not essentialMinimum 3 years of experience in a Management Accounting role is desirableKnowledge of MS Office products with a high proficiency in MS ExcelStrong communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and resolve problemsAbility to work as part of a team as well as on own initiativeAdditional InformationA range of benefits are available including employee discounts, various sports and health opportunities, on-site parking
