Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in Syracuse, New York. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in supporting care coordination efforts, ensuring smooth scheduling processes, and handling key administrative tasks. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a passion for providing excellent service in the healthcare field.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage scheduling for enrollment assessments and other appointments, maintaining accurate schedules for the Assessment RN.
• Process daily outgoing mail, including patient service plans, enrollment packets, and notification letters for members.
• Provide courteous and responsive customer service to members, escalating concerns as necessary.
• Collaborate with supervisory staff to address scheduling issues and ensure smooth workflow.
• Manage and generate various reports as directed to support operational needs.
• Participate actively in performance improvement initiatives and quality enhancement activities.
• Handle clerical duties such as typing, filing, copying, faxing, and taking messages.
• Support the team with other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements • High school diploma required; an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the healthcare industry or certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer literacy.
• Exceptional scheduling and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated customer service abilities with a focus on responsiveness and professionalism.
• Analytical problem-solving skills to identify and address potential issues effectively.
