Location: Mobile Mammography Coach – Hi-Line, Cutbank, Conrad, Shelby, Townsend, Choteau, Malta, Chester Position Type: PRN - Scheduled As Needed (with potential for Full-Time) Training Opportunity: X-ray Technologists welcome — willing to train in Mammography Position Summary Logan Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist to join our Mobile Mammography Coach serving the Hi-Line region. This PRN position offers the potential to move into a full-time role and provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact through early detection and prevention of breast cancer. X-ray Technologists with an interest in mammography are encouraged to apply—training will be provided. Qualifications Required: + Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology + Current ARRT certification + Valid Montana State Radiologic Technologist license + BLS certification Preferred / Required Within Hire Period: + Mammography certification preferred or must be obtained within six (6) months of hire + Minimum one (1) year experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred Additional Eligibility (as applicable to role): Driver Qualifications: + Valid driver’s license + Driving record for the past thirty-six (36) months free of major offenses (e.g., DUI, felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, or three (3) or more moving violations) + Personal vehicle must carry state-minimum liability insurance if used for Logan Health business Breast Sonography Qualifications: + ARDMS certification required + One (1) year experience preferred in one or more of the following: + Quality control + Breast sonography + Stereotactic biopsies Skills & Abilities: + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Strong organizational skills with attention to detail + Self-motivated with critical thinking and prioritization abilities + Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Job Responsibilities + Properly identify and prepare patients for mammography exams, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort + Obtain and document relevant patient history and exam-related information accurately + Perform mammography imaging and process images for radiologist review + Complete all required documentation according to departmental protocols + Ensure patients understand exam results and available options as communicated by the Radiologist + Perform arrival, end-of-day, and next-day preparation duties per department procedures + Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including stocking and inventory control + Assist with quality assurance activities and preparation for ACR and FDA accreditation + Participate in continuing education and professional development related to mammography Why Choose Logan Health? + Meaningful Impact: Play a vital role in the early detection of breast cancer + Professional Growth: Training opportunities and career advancement potential + Advanced Technology: Work with state-of-the-art mammography equipment + Team Environment: Collaborate with a dedicated and supportive healthcare team + Competitive Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees + Montana Lifestyle: Enjoy working amid Montana’s beautiful landscapes and communities Ready to make a difference in women's health? Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed. PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs.
