Job Summary
Reporting to the Radiology Manager and/or modality lead technologist, Mammography Technologists are responsible for performing diversified duties in the Breast Imaging section of the Radiology Department while operating within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. The technologist will be essential to driving Mass General Brigham's mission towards always aspiring to be people’s first choice for health and care, rooted in well-being and kindness, by bringing world-class care closer to home and being the bridge to world-renowned hospitals and research when needed.What You’ll Work On
The Mammography Technologist at Salem, NH will be primarily accountable for:
-Utilizing practical knowledge of anatomy, protocols and scanner equipment to acquire top quality breast imaging screening and diagnostic information in an ----Ambulatory, Outpatient setting
-Maintains department patient flow to provide superior patient experience and timely care, works efficiently and with confidence
-Maintaining a working knowledge of department workflows including but not limited to:
Service procedures
Patient schedule management
Breast Imaging Interventions
Epic Radiant
Supplies and Equipment
Screening verses Diagnostic
Patient Workflows
Qualifications
Required Experience
Must maintain required Licenses and Registrations for New Hampshire and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R)(M) (ARRT)
Ideal candidate would possess at least one year of experience within Breast Imaging, including cross-training in Breast Ultrasound
CPR/BLS
