The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Manager to support the EITaaS Wave One program for the Department of the Air Force (DAF). The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager with a with experience and background in supporting the US Air Force in an enterprise IT environment. Must have experience in organizing, directing, and overseeing contracted IT support within DAF major command(s). This role involves managing multiple complex projects, operational tasks, and priorities, while also engaging with senior DAF personnel.

Responsibilities:

Serve as an Air Force Major Command Manager overseeing EITaaS Wave One communications within assigned commands, acting as the primary point of contact for daily operations, program-related inquiries, and opportunities for Wave One expansion and support.

Serve as the Manager of the Command Management Team responsible for ensuring effective support across all DAF Major CommandsServe as a Wave One program’s representative to the MAJCOM/FLDCOM A6/S6, their staff, and the Communications Squadron (or equivalent) Commanders/Director assigned to the commandDevelop command communication plans, including documentation, announcements, and briefings, in collaboration with command A6/S6 staff and the Wave One Organizational Change Management teamBrief select Air Force leadership on Wave One milestones, showcasing current and future capabilitiesEngage with DAF-wide customers to review support requests, including Field Services, and formulate support priorities and requirementsCollaborate with the EITaaS contracting team and stakeholders to document requirements and ensure command/installation customer needs are met

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:

Proven experience in supervising and managing large-scale DAF enterprise IT operations, including the development of tactics, techniques, and procedures, as well as user and systems integration and training across diverse operating environments. Skilled in working with individuals of various job categories and skill levels, including VIPsExperience serving as a senior customer liaison for program activities, leading mission operations meetings and forums, and delivering periodic briefings to customers on end-user operational performance and the status of special projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in presenting material to senior DAF and DoD officials.Experience attracting, training, developing, managing, and retaining high-performing staff

Qualifications:

Required: 

An active DoD Secret clearance15+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).Excellent verbal and written commuincation skillsExperience in developing operational strategies and strategic priorities

Desired: 

Leadership experience within a MAJCOM/FLDCOM, Communications Squadron, or equivalent experience supporting the DAF’s enterprise IT infrastructureExperience in Air Force or DoD acquisitions, particularly in assisting customers with ordering services through a blanket purchase agreement

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$105,100-$231,100
