Overview

The Maintenance Worker 1 supports basic maintenance and repair tasks throughout a 1.3M square foot Footwear & Accessories Distribution Center. This entry-level role works under close supervision to perform routine maintenance duties, assist experienced technicians, and ensure facility operations run smoothly in a highly automated environment.

 

This position supports our Weekend Shift, Friday - Sunday, 6:00am - 6:30pm.  

What You'll Do Perform general facility upkeep including cleaning, replacing light bulbs, basic plumbing tasks, and minor repairs Support preventive maintenance activities on conveyors and AS/RS systems Assist senior technicians during troubleshooting and repairs Conduct safety checks and inspections as directed Complete daily documentation and communicate issues to supervisor Respond to radio calls and work order requests in a timely manner What You'll Bring to the Table High school diploma or GED required Up to 1 year of relevant experience Basic awareness of downtime protocols Ability to follow safety guidelines and work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools Learning attitude; willingness to learn and grow in technical skills Flexibility to work different shifts including weekends or holidays as needed

 

Physical and Environmental: 

Ability to lift to 60 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to stand and/or walk for most of a 10- or 12-hour shift Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled and to work outside in any weather
