Responsibilities:
Preventative Maintenance & Installation:
Execute routine service and preventative maintenance schedules for all plant machinery to ensure long-term reliability.
Accurately document all maintenance activities and work orders within the CMMS system.
Collaborate with site leadership to identify facility needs and optimize maintenance timelines.
Install, assemble, and conduct rigorous testing on new equipment and machinery.
Troubleshooting & Emergency Repair:
Rapidly diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system failures to minimize production delays.
Monitor machinery for subtle signs of malfunction (auditory, thermal, or olfactory) and take proactive corrective action.
Perform urgent repairs on production-critical assets, replacing worn or damaged components with precision.
General Operations & Safety:
Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the shop, mechanical rooms, and plant exterior.
Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, LOTO, and PPE standards, as well as company SOPs and SSOPs.
Adhere to strict Food Safety (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Assist with inventory control to ensure necessary parts and tools are always in stock.

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
Education: A 2-year technical degree is highly encouraged.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in food manufacturing or meat processing facilities.
Specialized Tech: Hands-on experience with Robotics or Ammonia Refrigeration systems.
Software: Previous experience navigating CMMS platforms.
Language: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a significant plus.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Systems: Basic proficiency in motors/controllers, plumbing, PLC I/O, and TCP/IP networking.
Physical Capability: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a cold-storage environment (approx. 40?F) with wet or slippery floors.
Adaptability: A "team-first" attitude with the ability to prioritize tasks independently in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
