Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Safety Coordinator to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician/Safety Coordinator, you will be part of the operations team supporting workplace safety and equipment efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician/Safety Coordinator
**Location:** Pinkard, AL
**Pay Range: Depending on experience**
**Shift: 1st shift**
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems.
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
+ Conduct safety training on protocols, emergency procedures, and equipment use.
+ Perform regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
+ Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns; recommend and implement corrective actions.
**What's Needed?**
+ Proficient in electronics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
+ Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
+ Skilled in using computers and Microsoft Office applications.
+ Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
