Maintenance Technician- Plastics Experience
**Industrial Maintenance Technician** + Direct Hire + Prefer someone with maintenance experience in a plastic environment but not a must have + Pay: $30-$36 - Depends on experience level + Shift + 1st (6am-6pm)- 2-2-3 schedule (one opening) + 3rd (6pm-6am)- 2-2-3 schedule (one opening) **Responsibilities** + Perform troubleshooting operations to diagnose and repair facilities, equipment, and machinery. + Make setups and adjustments on production equipment. + Repair equipment such as extruders, saws, polars, conveyors, vacuums, loaders, pumps, and gearboxes. + Conduct reactive maintenance and a wide variety of testing, inspection, and repair functions. + Ensure the safe repair of equipment to prevent injury and equipment damage. + Enter work hours in a CMMS system daily and sign out inventory to work orders. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and hydraulic pneumatic systems. + Comfortability with troubleshooting VFDs and 480V-Three Phase Motors. + Proficiency in voltage reading and operating within a control panel (rewiring, troubleshooting, disconnect, relays, limit switches). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to use a voltmeter and understand voltage, current, and resistance. + Knowledge of AC-DC voltage, motor changes, and reading wiring diagrams. + Experience with gearboxes, bearings, seals, mechanical drives, and power transmission. + Skills in aligning motor couplings, sprockets, pulleys, and understanding taper locks. + Competence in changing drive chains and using chain breaks. + Experience in reading electrical and mechanical blueprints. + Skills in gluing PVC, sweating copper, drain lines, pipe fitting, and heat exchanger operation. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr.
