Title: Maintenance Technician - Off Shift
Key Accountabilities:
Perform a wide range of maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, and maintain production machines and facility systems.Respond to emergency repairs and perform unscheduled maintenance on production and facility equipmentConduct skilled manual work in the construction, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing and infrastructure systemsPerform daily and scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on facility and test bench equipmentOversee work performed by OEM technicians and contractors, ensuring compliance with site policies.Maintain working knowledge of plant systems including PLCs, VFDs, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and fuel/water delivery systemsInterpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete tasks accurately. Advise and assist operators on safe equipment usage and proceduresCommunicate potential issues and safety hazards to appropriate personnelSupport installation and decommissioning of equipment, general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, etc.Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces in compliance with safety regulations.Support maintenance and production with special projects as needed Must be flexible to work overtime and/or adjust shift patterns as production needs changeShift: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Sunday–Wednesday)Promote and uphold a compliance-focused culture and adhere to the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.Basic Requirements:
Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and 3+ years of technician experience in a manufacturing environment; OR Completion of an apprenticeship or training program and 5+ years of technician experience in manufacturingPreferred:
Proficiency in multiple disciplines: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and machining. Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic blueprints and schematics. Hands-on experience with welding, pipe fitting, lubrication systems, and use of manual machining toolsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environmentKnowledge of OSHA safety standards, LOTO procedures, and compliance with regulationsFamiliarity with manufacturing processes, raw materials, quality control, and cost optimizationEffective verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Bachelor’s or associate degree focused in mechanical or electrical disciplines.Certification or strong working knowledge of industrial HVAC Systems.
