Job Title: Maintenance Technician IV

Working Pattern: Onsite 1st shift (6am -2:30pm)

Working Location: Cypress, CA

The Maintenance Technician IV is a senior-level role responsible for performing advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on complex systems including vacuum pumps, electrical equipment, and related machinery. In this role, you will be required to have strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage work orders while supporting continuous improvement through root cause analysis. You will function as a team leader, mentoring junior technicians and ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational goals.

What you will be doing:

Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on vacuum pumps, electrical systems, and mechanical equipmentConduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring equipment issues and implement effective corrective actionsLead, guide, and mentor maintenance team members; serve as a subject matter expert in technical problem-solvingManage and prioritize work orders through the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), ensuring timely completion and accurate documentationCoordinate with operations and engineering to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliabilityDevelop, update, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance schedulesProvide input on equipment upgrades, reliability improvements, and safety enhancementsEnsure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policiesParticipate in cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiativesTrain and support junior technicians on technical skills and safe work practices

Basic Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent or GED (General Educational Development) with 4+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, with expertise in vacuum pump systems and electrical troubleshootingAssociate’s degree with 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, with expertise in vacuum pump systems and electrical troubleshootingIn order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident

Preferred Requirements:

 Technical degree or certifications in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenanceProven ability to perform and document root cause analysisStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systemsProficiency with CMMS systems for managing work orders and maintenance historyDemonstrated leadership skills with experience training or mentoring team membersStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
