About You: As the Maintenance Technician II, you are part of Best People. You will work with other maintenance personnel utilizing our Best Systems, to maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. You have fundamental skills working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You help us to grow our business relationships, using your foresight to identify parts for replacement, machines that need new parts, and place orders as necessary to get Best Results. Necessary Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent teamwork skills. Certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Ability to prioritize work to ensure team safety, quality, and delivery of assigned tasks. Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Necessary Experience: Requires high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Experience performing work safely both indoors and outdoors. 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Experience working in hot and damp environments, wearing PPE, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing/walking for extended periods of time.
