\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of machinery and auxiliary equipment, as well as building special items to support multiple production lines.\u00A0\u00A0
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0The Maintenance Technician will engage in the repair of tools, machinery, equipment, and repair and maintain machines.
Essential Job Functions\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Maintain equipment and tools as needed and per the PM schedule.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Communicates consistently with internal customers regarding status of equipment.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Advises supervisor of needs for outside services and works with service representatives on equipment and controls repair and installation.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Shows competency in several crafts and performs handyman aspects in all trades and can execute the build of specialized tools, carts, equipment as needed by the facilities & operations team.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Prepares bills of material on jobs requiring major material use and initiates purchase requisitions.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Makes day to day work-related decisions and prioritize needs to complete more urgent items first.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Uses various material handling equipment such as hoists, carts, lifts, fork trucks and hand trucks in moving light to heavy weight material.\u00A0
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Uses a variety of lock-out/tag-out devices as required per plant LOTO Plan.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0
Education, Experience & Skills\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0High School Diploma required or GED equivalent required.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Degree in Maintenance Technology or equivalent preferred.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Experience with a wide range of mechanical equipment.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Three (3) plus years of experience in maintenance is preferred, but not required.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Strong mechanical skills.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Basic electrical skills.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Comprehension of schematics/blueprints.
\u00A7\u00A0\u00A0Self-starter and motivated to maintain building/machines to 100% uptime via strong preventative activities.
