SUMMARY Under limited supervision, responsible for repair, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities. Be a creative and proactive contributor, focused on continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities + Perform repairs and adjustments on electrical fixtures, carpentry components, and painted surfaces throughout the facility. + Lead or assist in the installation, relocation, and reinstallation of new or existing equipment. + Maintain and troubleshoot production support systems such as air compressors, vacuum systems, and air dryers. + Conduct simple engineering calculations to support equipment upgrades or replacements. + Maintain and update mechanical prints and documentation when modifications are made. + Ensure that all HVAC and ventilation systems are operating in accordance with manufacturer specifications. + Prepare and submit proposals or recommendations for facilities or equipment upgrades to the department supervisor. + Keep accurate maintenance logs for all assigned equipment and systems. + Conduct routine inspections and initiate corrective actions as needed to prevent downtime or hazards. + Follow and document all preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in accordance with internal procedures. + Comply with all company safety protocols, PPE guidelines, and applicable health regulations. + Adhere to all company security and confidentiality policies. Minimum Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent required. + 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a facility or equipment maintenance role. + Proven ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. + Basic understanding of blueprints, schematics, and mechanical diagrams. + Familiarity with tools, materials, and safety standards used in industrial maintenance. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications + Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). + Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or related technical areas are a plus. + OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
