Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Clinton, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment through proactive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Perform regular preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtimeTroubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsConduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues before they lead to breakdownsUse various tools and test equipment to diagnose and resolve technical problemsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide maintenance activitiesCollaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and efficiencyImplement and maintain safety procedures in accordance with company policies and regulationsDocument all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements in the company's maintenance management system (SAP) Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and work on critical equipment repairsAssist in the installation and setup of new manufacturing equipmentParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and equipment reliability

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

AAS Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Maintenance with 4+ years of industrial maintenance experienceStrong Electrical experience required.Proven skills in repairing and maintaining electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsProficiency in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, multi-meters, and other test equipmentExperience in troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic circuits and analyzing technical documentationBasic PLC programming skills for equipment troubleshootingAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesCapability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentKnowledge of safety procedures and regulations in industrial settingsExperience with high-speed automation equipment is highly desirableStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

THE ENVIRONMENT

This includes safety wear such as company issued/approved steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.  as needed in the required areas.  The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
