The Floater Pool Maintenance Technician will be responsible for common area and apartment repairs at multiple sites within a submarket of NYC; in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliances. Further oversight of the building’s curb appeal through building exterior inspections and grounds maintenance is required. Customer service and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of the community’s residents. Location: Multiple sites within a submarket of Manhattan, Roosevelt Island and/or Long Island City. Core Responsibilities: Completion of resident work orders (general repairs, plumbing, appliance repairs) Prepare vacant units for future renters Upkeep of the grounds, amenities, and BBQ grills (indoor/outdoor) Ensure all equipment is in working condition and follow a preventative maintenance schedule Ability to troubleshoot and identify maintenance issues Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor about unsafe or hazardous environments on the property Approach all encounters with residents, guests, and colleagues in a gracious, attentive, courteous, and service-oriented manner Compensation: $30.67/h Benefits: Local 32BJ Union Benefits Qualifications 2 years of experience in property maintenance Luxury and Affordable housing experience preferred Ability to work in team environment HVAC : repairs, cleans, replaces, etc. Plumbing: repairs, replace parts, installation Carpentry: repairs and installs doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc. Painting: drywall/plaster repairs, painting Electrical/Appliance: lighting, wiring, power circuits, replacing switches, etc. Must able to lift 50LBS and stand for 8 hours MUST BE ABLE TO WORK HOLIDAY AND WEEKENDS Overview Build Your Career With Related Management Company A subsidiary of Related Companies, Related Management Company (RMC) is a premier owner/operator of real estate, managing hundreds of properties across multiple states and Washington, D.C.
