Site & Maintenance Technician/Engineer

Location: Witham Sites
Shift Pattern: Weekly rotation – 05:15–14:00 & 14:00–22:30 - Saturday overtime required on a rotational basis to support production

 

Role Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Site & Maintenance Technician/Engineer to join our Witham team. This role is key to ensuring our site and equipment run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You’ll play a vital part in reducing downtime and supporting the day-to-day operations of our facilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

Open and close the site as required Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems Complete routine repairs and equipment upgrades Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

 

Qualifications & Requirements

NVQ or equivalent experience Full UK driving licence First Aid trained (or willing to train) Forklift licence (or willing to train) Solid knowledge of general building maintenance Strong communication and problem-solving skills Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently Awareness of H&S regulations
