Maintenance Mechanic – JLL

What this job involves:

As a Maintenance Mechanic at JLL in Woodland, CA, you will play a critical role in supporting operation, inspection, and maintenance processes for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities, including specialized equipment in Greenhouses. What your day-to-day will look like:Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other installed systems, equipment, and componentsConduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operationsAssist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment, replace lighting and ballasts, and clean HVAC coils, change filters and beltsComplete Hazard Assessments as necessary and comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas while recognizing danger and safety hazardsMaintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws, and complete all required safety trainings as scheduledUpdate work order status in real time using our CMMS system and escalate problems or issues to customers and managers in a timely mannerComply with all policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials, and attend work and safety meetings as required

Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3-5 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, HVAC systems, basic plumbing, and basic electricalMechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read and understand a one line/ladder diagramPhysically able to operate electric hand tools, work on a ladder, carry tools, lift and carry heavy loads, and operate a motor vehicleAbility to lift up to 60 lbs., climb a 30-foot ladder, and perform frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and reaching overheadStrong customer service skills and strong interpersonal skillsAbility to read and write reports clearly and thoroughly and ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:Green House maintenance experienceEPA Universal certificationExperience working on roofs of buildings and performing overhead work safely while standing on a ladderAbility to work well in a team or independentlyAbility to detect emergency alarms (auditory and/or visual)Team player with reliable work ethic and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplaceSafety-minded approach to all tasks

Location: Onsite - Woodland, CA

Work Shift: 2nd Shift, Tues-Sat 2:30PM-11:00PM

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

28.00 – 32.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
