What you will be doing

As a Maintenance Tech at our milk facility, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing equipment, conducting preventive maintenance to prevent downtime, and ensuring that all machinery meets safety and quality standards. You'll work closely with production teams to address any issues that arise and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize disruptions to production. Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and collaborating with vendors to procure parts and services as needed. Your expertise and dedication will be instrumental in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our milk facility.

The position will be in Hatfield, PA.  

The pay for this position starts at $33.00 an hour, depending upon experience and skills.  

Schedule for the position

The schedule is 2nd shift, 2:00pm-10:30pm, Mon-Friday with occasional weekend needs. 
 

Main responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Follow diagrams, manuals, and specifications for repairs. Troubleshoot and identify malfunctions. Inspect and remove defective parts using hand and power tools. Measure and adjust part dimensions as needed. Communicate preventive maintenance needs and ensure compliance. Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools. Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies. Complete daily maintenance paperwork and prepare equipment setups. Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations. 

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience: 

High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 years plus of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing. 1 years plus of experience with mechanical/electrical repair. Knowledge of fabrication, machine shop tools, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to read and follow schematics, electrical diagrams, and blueprints. LME (Limited Maintenance Electrical) License preferred. EPA Refrigeration Certification preferred. Basic PLC knowledge and strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in noisy environments. Forklift or powered equipment experience preferred.
