Maintenance Technician – JLL

What this job involves:

Join our facilities team as a Maintenance Technician where you'll play a vital role in creating exceptional workplace experiences for building occupants. This position combines technical expertise with customer service excellence as you maintain electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems across our Orlando portfolio. You'll be the go-to resource for ensuring reliable building operations, responding to maintenance needs, and maintaining the high facility standards that directly support occupant comfort, safety, and satisfaction. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on daily workplace experiences while developing your technical skills in a dynamic commercial real estate environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal building performance and occupant comfortRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, prioritizing issues that impact workplace safety and productivityConduct basic troubleshooting and repairs on building systems including lighting, power distribution, heating and cooling equipment, and plumbing fixturesAssemble, disassemble, move, and reconfigure furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) to support space changes and office relocationsConduct regular facility walkthroughs to identify potential issues before they affect the workplace experienceCoordinate with vendors and contractors while minimizing disruption to daily operationsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and work orders.

Required Qualifications:

2-4 years of related work experience in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry.Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with building occupantsPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders up to 30 feet tallAbility to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift, and/or driveOccasional after-hours and weekend availability to support business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Trade school training, union apprenticeship, military service, or college educationExperience in commercial building maintenance or facilities managementBasic knowledge of building systems and general maintenance practices.

Location: Orlando, Florida.

Work Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (On-site)

Salary: $45,700 to $58,060 annually

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
