Maintenance Technician

DIRECT PLACEMENT ROLE

Position Overview

A fast‑paced food production facility in Tracy is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate is safety‑focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, packaging equipment, and facility systemsDiagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issuesComplete repairs in a timely manner to reduce operational downtimeMaintain accurate maintenance logs and documentationAssist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projectsFollow all safety protocols, GMPs, and facility standardsCollaborate with production teams to identify equipment needs and performance issuesRespond to emergency maintenance calls as neededQualifications2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in manufacturing, food processing, or a similar industrial environmentStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and industrial equipmentAbility to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsExperience with PLCs is a plusAbility to work in cold environments and fast‑paced production settingsStrong problem‑solving skills and attention to detailWillingness to work overtime, weekends, or varied shifts as needed

This is a Permanent position based out of Tracy, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72000.00/yr.
