**Maintenance Technician** Location: Portland, OR Pay: $30 - $35 / HR . Key Responsibilities: + Proactively investigate needs, evaluate issues, and present/recommend alternatives to decrease overall facility operational downtime thus increasing operational effectiveness. + Locate, identify, and resolve any safety issues with mechanical or electrical devices + Develop and maintain purchasing/inventory controls for repair parts and tool inventories. + Support existing and future projects during installations, start-up, and long-term operation. + Support daily/weekly asset usage + Assist in daily/weekly training warehouse personnel + Assist with special projects as directed by management + Continuously seeking to improve upon existing methods of operation, by research and development. Qualifications: + Experience in production or high volume distribution settings is a plus. + Experience with conveyor systems, high-volume washers/dryers/air tumblers etc. Environment / Shift: + Warehouse environment. + RPCs are recieved, unloaded and sorted, sanitized/washed and QC'd, restacked and prepped for shipment. + Maintenace team oversees facilities and mechanical maintenance + 2nd Shift: 12:30pm-9pm, Monday to Thursday + 3rd Shift: 9:30pm-6am, Monday to Thursday. Will start Sunday night at 8:30pm to make sure the machine is ready.
