**Maintenance Technician** Location: Portland, OR Pay: $30 - $40 / HR . Key Responsibilities: + Comply with OSHA regulations as well as follow all company safety rules and procedures. Working safely is a condition of employment. + Follow assigned projects to completion while meeting /exceeding times lines and expectations. + Perform troubleshooting of machine control systems and related components such as inputs / outputs, power supply, electrical signals, switches, solenoids etc. + Remove, rebuild and / or replace equipment components such as pumps, cylinders, valves, sensors, switches, bearings / races & seals, mechanical drive systems etc. + Perform Maintenance assignments, including but not limited to, work orders and Preventive Maintenance (PM). Identify and get the resources needed to complete work. + Follows, applicable Safety, Health and Environmental rules and guidelines while performing any procedure work. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards. + Use of PLC controllers and other logic devices and equipment with the ability to troubleshoot and replace components or modules. + Use advanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics mechanical and electric skills in performing work. + Document work completed such as work orders, PM records, equipment information/history, electronic files, etc. Qualifications: + Requires minimum 7 – 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing preventative maintenance position including a advanced understanding of PM systems, with emphasis on diagnosing and troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics and electromechanical control systems. + Knowledge of PLC programming + LME/LMI electrical license required for higher level tech position + Proven mechanical abilities and use of standard shop hand and power tools. + Ability to maintain and repair machinery safely and quickly, with full attention to detail and quality workmanship. + Able to meet deadlines, keep commitments, and meet expectations. + Solid knowledge and ability with machining, fabricating, all forms of welding, brazing, soldering, pipe fitting.
