Maintenance Technician – $30–$35/hr to Start

We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep a busy concrete plant running. If you’re hands‑on, mechanically sharp, and want steady year‑round work with no winter layoffs, this is a great fit.

What You’ll DoWork with the Plant Manager to handle all repairs and maintenanceStart one hour before plant operations: open the building, open the gate, inspect lift equipment, start air compressors, service filters & drainsMaintain and repair overhead cranes, lifts, production machinery, trucks, and plant equipmentSet up and follow a preventative maintenance scheduleKeep maintenance logs, inspection records, OSHA/DOT documentationMonitor equipment use to ensure safe, proper operationTroubleshoot breakdowns and keep production movingWhat You NeedStrong troubleshooting, mechanical, and repair skillsExperience with heavy equipment, hydraulics, electrical systems, mixers, cranesBlueprint reading & record‑keeping ability5+ years maintenance mechanic experience (plant/industrial preferred)3+ years working on diesel engines & hydraulicsHigh school diplomaWilling to obtain certifications if neededWhy Work Here$30–$35/hr starting payYear‑round work — no winter layoffsGuaranteed workload for the next 3 yearsAnnual raises + production bonusesSupportive leadership and a plant manager who believes in teamwork and delegationWork EnvironmentMon–Fri: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PMExpect 47–52 hours per weekIndoor/outdoor concrete plant settingDirty, hands‑on, physical work — real maintenance, not desk work

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
