**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on food processing equipment. This includes both mechanical and electrical repairs, breaking down machinery for cleaning, and starting up machinery. The technician will also work within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for preventive maintenance and work orders. Limited troubleshooting will be required as the machines are not operational at night. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food processing equipment. + Conduct preventive maintenance using CMMS. + Break down and clean machinery. + Start up machinery after maintenance. + Troubleshoot issues with machinery as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience with electrical systems, including PLCs, pneumatics, VFDs, and power transmission. + Ability to work with control voltage (24V and 3 phase up to 480V). + Proficiency in troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and understanding schematics and ladder logic. + Mechanical skills, including experience with hydraulics, motors, conveyors, pulleys, chains, and sprockets. + 5+ years of maintenance experience. + High School Diploma. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with food manufacturing and GMP practices is a plus. + PLC experience is beneficial. + Ability to use a multimeter. **Why Work Here?** This opportunity provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance with no deductible and a maximum out-of-pocket cost. The facility is refrigerated, and employees will work the 4pm-12:30am shift. Gowns and steel-toed boots are provided, and basic and specialty tools are available for use. Orientation includes GMP training and typically begins at 8 or 9am on a Monday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Dulles, VA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $72800.00/yr.
