A Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out appropriate maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience\.
**What will I be doing?**
As a Maintenance Technician you are responsible for carrying out appropriate maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience\.
+ Implement company statutory and legal requirements including fire, health and safety, hygiene, electricity at work, and all local by\-laws
+ Respond to all enquiries promptly
+ Performing preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the hotel
+ Carry out minor plumbing, electrical, and basic HVAC repairs, identifying and resolving technical issues, supporting the maintenance of guest rooms and common areas\.
+ Ensure good relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
+ Ensure energy conservation initiatives are implemented
+ Attend additional training suitable to the role

+ Positive, proactive, and solution‑oriented attitude, with the ability to manage general facility maintenance and handle day‑to‑day repairs

+ Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electricity; a versatile and practical profile with initiative, a positive work attitude, and the ability to work independently
+ Good communication skills
+ Previous experience in four‑ or five‑star hotels will be particularly valued, as well as knowledge of industrial refrigeration, cold rooms, and cooling equipment\. Skills in locksmithing or other trades related to hotel maintenance will also be taken into consideration\.
+ Full schedule flexibility is essential, including rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to the hotel’s operational needs\.
+ Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
+ Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
+ Ability to work on their own or in teams
